The Bell School is a one-room schoolhouse that has been modeled after those in 1912 and is presently available for field trips. Run by Arvil and Gerry Holt, the school provides the opportunity to spend a “day back in time”. Visitors will experience a turn-of-the-century school day as they will be sitting
in the old “ink well” school desks, writing with quill pens, competing in
an old-fashioned spelling bee and using slates to cipher.
Arvil and Gerry have always been passionately dedicated to the education and enrichment of the next generation. As such, there is no charge to visit the Bell School, but donations are greatly appreciated.
